With less than 12 hours to go (as of this writing), Lucban is already in chaos – traffic, both man and vehicles are building up, thanks to the fine weather, though the sun seldom shines. There’s no rain but the sky is hazy and the threat of a downpour is likely to happen anytime of the day.
Tourists and onlookers are concentrated at the center of town where most of the events are happening. Today’s happening includes the Gayak Karosa (float parade), Pansit Habhab-fiestaval and a special appearance by Robin Padilla later in the evening.
Making a comeback is the Higantes Parade that will roam around town together with a brass band today and tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s Big Event:
6:00 am – Holy Mass in honor of San Isidro Labrador
7:00 am – Procession of San Isidro and Snra. Maria de Cabeza (wife of San Isidro)
2:00 pm – Thanksgiving mass of the farmers
3:00 pm – Grand Parade
7:00 pm – Live Concert
