April 13 was a big day for Lucbanins specially those basketball fanatics as one of the most awaited summer event in Lucban kicks off. The 5th Mayor’s Cup, a yearly basketball tournament in Lucban started with a parade of competing teams and their lovely and sexy muses.
All eyes were on team Kamay ni Hesus led by Fr. Joey Faller, braving the scorching heat as they paraded along with their muse, no other than the sexy actress Angelica Jones. Also in the team was his dynamic partner, Fr. Angie Jaballa who jokingly said he was the team’s mascot.
This year’s competition comprised of 4 teams for the Junior Division and 12 teams in the Senior Division.
Gracing the opening ceremonies were Vice Gov Josellier “Yeng” Guiao of Pampanga, currently the coach of the Philippine national basketball team and Cyrus Baguio, also a member of the team and a PBA cager. Katrina Halili, a popular young actress was also present as guest artist.
